Netina BeClick works for people whom society has too often left behind. A website that not everyone can use would contradict everything we do. That's why we have put real effort into making this website accessible, and we keep fixing anything that anyone reports to us.
1. Who we are
The website www.never-forgett.com and the projects it hosts, including Otzma LaChayal and Otzma LaNefesh, are operated by Netina BeClick, a registered Israeli nonprofit, No. 580776292. This statement applies to every page of the website.
This statement is published under Regulation 35 of the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.
2. Accessibility level
The website has been made accessible in line with Israeli Standard SI 5568 and the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines, the level required by the regulations.
The website was tested with a widely used automated tool (axe-core) and by hand. At the time this statement was published, no violations of WCAG 2.1 Level A or AA were found on the pages and display modes tested, as detailed in Section 5.
3. Adjustments we have made
- Full keyboard navigation. Every element, button and link can be reached with the Tab key, without a mouse.
- Clear focus indicator. The element that currently has focus is marked with a prominent outline.
- Focus management in the donation window. When the window opens, focus moves into it, the Tab key does not leave it, the Esc key closes it, and focus returns to the button that opened it.
- Color contrast. All text on the website has a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1, and large text and graphic elements at least 3:1.
- Labels for every form field. Every field has a permanent label that screen readers announce, not just placeholder text that disappears as you type.
- Clear error messages. Form errors are shown as text next to the field itself and linked to it, not indicated by color alone.
- A hierarchical heading structure and semantic markup, so screen reader users can move between sections of the page.
- Alternative text for images. Images that carry information have a text description; decorative images are marked as such so screen readers don't announce them needlessly.
- Language and text direction are declared for each document (English, left to right).
- Full support for mobile devices and for enlarging text up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- Respect for reduced-motion settings. Visitors who have turned on Reduced Motion in their operating system see the website without animations.
- A skip-to-content link at the top of the information pages.
- No flashing content or automatically changing elements that could trigger a seizure.
4. Parts that are not yet fully accessible
We would rather state plainly what isn't perfect yet than make a sweeping claim:
- The payment page. Payment takes place on an external page run by a payment processor, which we do not control and have not made accessible ourselves. If you have trouble completing a donation on the payment page, contact us using the details in Section 6 and we will complete your donation with you by phone.
- Third-party content. Some images show material originally published by others, such as press articles. Each one has a text description of its content, but the text inside the image itself cannot be selected or read aloud directly.
- Screen reader testing. The website has passed technical testing and full keyboard testing, but has not yet been through comprehensive user testing with the NVDA and JAWS screen readers. That testing is planned; until then, there may be issues we haven't found.
We are working to close these gaps. If you run into any difficulty on the website, including one not listed here, we would be grateful to hear about it. Every report is reviewed.
5. Testing
- Most recent test: October 1, 2026 (English pages); August 26, 2026 (Hebrew pages)
- Carried out by: the website's development team
- Method: automated testing with axe-core against WCAG 2.1 Levels A and AA, combined with manual testing of keyboard navigation, focus management, field labels and semantic structure
- What was tested: the donation pages, the thank-you page, and the donation window while open
- Screen widths: 390 pixels (mobile) and 1440 pixels (desktop)
- Browser: the latest version of the Chromium engine
6. Accessibility coordinator: how to reach us
If you encounter an accessibility problem on the website, or need help completing a donation, please contact us. We will do our best to respond as quickly as possible, and in any case within 7 business days.
- Accessibility coordinator: Ron Ben Shushan
- Email: ronbsai@gmail.com
- Phone: +972-55-720-0440
- Mailing address: 24 Mishol HaDuvdevan, Kiryat Gat, Israel
To help us respond quickly, please tell us which page the problem was on, what you were trying to do, and which device and browser you were using. If you use assistive technology, letting us know which one will help us reproduce the issue.
7. Accessibility of our services beyond the website
Most of the Organization's work takes place in the homes of the people we help, not in an office open to the public. We will answer every phone call and email, and make any reasonable adjustment needed for you to receive a service from us. Please contact us using the details in Section 6.
8. Updates to this statement
This statement will be updated after any significant change to the website, and at least once a year. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page. This English version is provided for your convenience; if it differs from the Hebrew version, the Hebrew version prevails.
